Christmas is around the corner, and we’ve put together a line-up of festive events to keep things merry and bright. From hearty food to carols with our lovely neighbours.

Monday 17th November – Christmas Party Season Begins

Thursday 27th November – Thanksgiving at The Carpenter’s
Join us for an American-style feast with all the trimmings: roast turkey, pecan pie, and even a whisky cocktail to toast the season!

Tuesday 2nd December – Christmas Carolling
A favourite tradition! Teaming up with St Peter’s Square church & residents, we’ll fill the evening with carols, mince pies, our house mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and lots of festive cheer.

Wednesday 24th December – Christmas Eve
Open as usual until 10:30pm for fireside dining – book ahead and make us part of your Christmas Eve tradition.

Thursday 25th December – Christmas Day
Closed this year for Christmas Day – we’ll raise a glass to you from home. Merry Christmas from the Carpenter’s Arms team!

Friday 26th December – Boxing Day
Keep things easy and cosy with us. Open for lunch, with the kitchen closing at 4pm and the bar at 7pm. Book your table to avoid missing out.

Wednesday 31st December – New Year’s Eve
See out 2025 with good food, flowing drinks, and a laid-back celebration. Our New Year’s Eve menu starts with a glass of fizz and is designed to be enjoyed in true Carpenter’s Arms style – hearty and delicious. Pre-order and pre-payment required. Email us at [email protected] for details.

Thursday 1st January 2026 – New Year’s Day Recovery Dinner
From 4pm, join us for fire-side comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere to ease you gently into 2026.
